I may be corrected by all of the pseudo-herpetologists gloming on to this thread but from my initial viewing it sure looks like a Racer to me. Count your ventrals etc. but its not a Texas Rat nor does it appear to be any form of Corn. Bill
: I'd have to agree, Bill. My first (and so far only) thought is "racer". I'm no expert and my experience is limited so my opinion doesn't carry much weight.

FYI, albino racers are heavily suffused with red blotching/speckling, so it is doubtful that this specimen is a racer. If you have never seen an albino c. constrictor, then please refer to H.B. Bechtel's book, "Reptile and Amphibian Variants", page 118. If the specimen in question turns out to be a racer, then it would have to be both leucistic and albinistic.... very unlikely but not impossible.
By the way, how does one achieve the status of "psuedo herpetologist"?
