I know you can't guess as to whether mine is a White Oak phase or not without a pic, but I'm just curious as to what determines normal vs White Oak.

Hi,
I'm not really aware of any set criteria that may be used to draw the line between 'grey rat' and 'white oak phase grey rat.' I think generally speaking 'white oak' phase is the name given to the lighter forms of the grey rat that are typically found from southeast Alabama and across the Florida panhandle towards Jacksonville. Not sure if this answers your question or not.. but if your snake is really light colored then I would say its safe to call it a white oak phase.
