They are honestly not the easiest animals to keep. Thusfar both have to be tease-fed. That is, a pinkie left over night in the cage just remains there, but if the snakes are harassed with it, they begin nipping and eventually take it down. As alluded to in a previous post, I am leaving for Papua New Guinea on Feb 4th and will be gone until mid-April. I have hired someone trusted (who I have used before) to take care of my collection, but I think I will put the moellendorfi down into brumation before leaving so he doesn't have to deal with them. And I've heard that's a good idea anyway and they will feed better in the Spring when taken out. I'm hoping that's correct.
