The one time my capive black rat musked me, I thought it smelled like brownies burning. Have you noticed that or is it just me/my snake? E. obsoleta probably smell the worst because they're bigger and just have more musk. I've heard that E. carniata ('stinking goddess') musk smells like yellow rat musk but I haven't had the pleasure yet. My Taiwan beauty doesn't seem to like to musk at all.
