Stupid newbie breeding question:

My female blue beauty (who is a slithering garbage disposal) just refused a meal... does it mean she could be gravid or does that only happen in pythons? I know it's stupid but I'm new to all of this breeding stuff. She's been with the male for a while now... even though they haven't been "caught" in the act, he's been through the ropes before and knows how to get the job done... Her refusing a meal a sign of being possibly gravid? Or am I getting my hopes up? =)
Any help would be appreciated...
