None of the Eurasian stuff sells as well when it's wild caught. This holds true for a lot of herps but especially the Asian Elaphe from what I can tell.
Regardless, I also don't understand why this "species" is not more popular. I put species in quotes as I suspect this is actually an insular or population variant of Gonyosoma oxycephala. I've got five of the G. oxycephala and they are probably my favorite snake of all time. And I've kept a lot of different genera of snakes. A good friend of mine has worked with the G. oxycephala and both color variants of the janseni. He likes them all.
And for what it's worth the janseni are supposed to be not all that difficult to accilimate to captivity so I'd say get them if you're worried about that.
