The best ones I've seen also come from around Hillsborough County. They tend to be quite yellowish and still have that contrasty black striping that makes them so special, :)
The "yellowest" ones come from around Lake Okeechobee, IMHO, specifically just south of the lake around Belle Glade. I've seen some really bright yellow ones from this area. They tend to lack the pronounced black striping of classic yellows though. But they are definitely bright yellow! The snake in the photo is "south of Okeechobee" stock. Sorry for the poor quality it is an oooooold pic from the manual print and scan days, ;)
