:Your best bet, of course, is another texas rat. If you want to get another snake, but one that "looks" different, get a normal colored texas rat. Better yet, get a normal colored one (from a reliable source) that is het for leucistic.
:If what you want is something other than another texas, but you still want to try to breed, stick with the obsoleta (black, yellow, grey). If you want to stray much farther than that, you may want to check out the hybrid forum. They seem to come up with all kinds of unlikely combos. It really depends on what you want. Do you have other ratsnakes right now? What were you considering? Good luck. Duffy

::I was wondering what/if any other rat snakes are compatable with my leucistic texas rat snake? Thanks

First I want to say "Thanks" to both of you for the useful information. I do not have any other rat snakes right now. I do have 3 garters and 2 rough green snakes..but no other rats, yet. My leucistic texas rat snake is soo mean...there is no way I will buy another one of them. They are cool looking but is very mean. Thats why I named him "Striker". I think I will check out the hybrid forum. I am not really trying to produce something that will sell and make big bucks...but just want to see what I can produce. Thanks again.
