My Peterson guide says that the record black rat is 101 inches. Does this record still hold? Mine are babies right now, so I can't give you firsthand. I will say that I chose black rats because I wanted North American snakes and was impressed with the 101 inch record! Like you, I would like to know how big some of the regulars on this forum have grown 'em. Let's see some pics, too! Duffy
:This goes way back to the 70's for me. I've heard the further north you go the larger the obsoleta get. I've heard of 9 feet "being common". Has anyone ever seen a 9 footer? If so, in what state? Has anyone ever bought a baby and raised it to such a size?
