I recently picked up a nice Spilotes pullatus. She is the high yellow speckled variety that turns jet black about half way down her body. I've noticed that their coloration and pattern can be extremely variable. (some are banded, some are speckled, some are striped). I'm wondering if different localitys withing their range produce different phases or if its completely variable.
