I just bought an adult male transpecos last weekend and his head is massive, especially compared to my corns and milks. Is this normal for them? I had two babies a few years back, unfortunately they both died on me. I figured that I would get an adult this time and miss that vulnerable time of life (hatchlings). Two more questions: He was eating fresh-killed, do you think that it will be hard to switch him to frozen/thawed? And how often do they eat as adults? He is four years old.
