It seems to me that you got a really good deal on your snakes. I paid CDN$150.00 a year ago for a yearling female (that's about US$90.00), and that wasn't at a petstore. I think that US$120.00 to $150.00 wouldn't be unreasonable for a young adult or sub-adult that doesn't exhibit hyperopthalmia. Buying at a petstore, you can expect to pay more than if you're buying at a reptile show, or direct from a breeder. Sometimes the petstore price is more than double the breeder's price.

:I would pay the same for a 2 yr old Leucistic as I would for a 5 yr old. Personally, I would never pay more than $100 for any Leucistic TX Ratsnake. I have a pair of 4.5 ft Leucistic TX Rats, I paid less than $100 for BOTH of them 6 months ago.
:Market value on Leucistics when down the tubes a while back.
