I'm not K.E. and I don't have 15 years of "in the field" experience but, I have had 6 different WC bull snakes and every one of them had at least one, and usually more than one, leasion. All left some sort of scar or abnormal looking patch. I can't believe that these post hatching injuries could cause a snake to change colors! Is that what you are suggesting?
