Dear K.E.,
Like I said in a prior post, I no long wish to debate the authenticity of your snakes' locality info, but I do have some other [unrelated] questions in regards to one of them.
You will see that I circled two areas on your photograph, which under close scrutiny appear to be raised lesions. When I looked and the photo at different magnifications and with different lighting, (and through various filters) these areas seemed to be more pronounced. Indeed, after viewing them at different levels of posterization and solarization, the effect only seemed to become yet more pronounced.
Are these indeed blisters or lesions? ..or are they merely areas discoloration? If they are blisters (I’m assuming your husbandry skills would forego any possibility of internal or external parasites) do you think they could be linked with the other obvious pattern and/or color mutations?
