Thanks for the reference to the article. But my objective is not to determine if these kentucky locales are pure or not...i already know that integration occurs there naturally. I will have pure species. I will obtain a W.C black rat from Pennsylvania, and a W.C Texas rat from southern Texas, to assure that these specimens will be pure. I will also have a hybrid between the two for comparisons. I understand that this is going to be no easy task, but i have a lot of good professional help to assist me with my tests.
