Hello All
New to the forum and would appreciate some info on the Black and Texas (leucistic) rat snakes. I've been into boids for a couple of years (balls/Dums/and Hoggs) but have never owned a colubrid. I'm very interested in the Texas and Black rat snakes and was wondering if anyone who has experience with both could recommend which one to start with? I'm unfamiliar with the whole "musking" thing but do understand that rat snakes can be a bit aggressive. Are there any significant differences in these two? Any words of wisdom in general? Thanks to all that respond. Jm
