While I must agree that most wildcaughts, especialy big adults, are almost invariably very defensive, there are exeptions to this rule. My wildcaught male is the tamest specimen I've seen so far, and has never bitten or even puffed up once. Most CBs are much tamer, from my experience. Three out of four babies I had the opportunity to raise up never bit. But all specimens seem to retain a nervous disposition throughout their lives, and it takes a lot of handling to keep them from always stiffening up upon being handled or from dashing out from their cages when disturbed. Also, the nippers usually warn you plenty before taking a chunk out of you!
