Do Tiger Rat Snakes make good pets,Are they aggressive?

I was just wondering about this particular rat. It has a neat pattern, similar to that of Kingsnakes. I would like to own one but I am unsure as to it's exact disposition. I don't want to own a snake that is going to bite me every time I pick it up! If you all can clue me in as to how mean or nice the snake is, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks CHRIS
