I've been reading all the posts about peoples' preferred subspecies of beauty snake, but I have a question about temperament. From what I've heard, taiwans (friesi) are generally the most tolerant of handling. My question is: Do they just not bite, or are they easy to handle? I'll try to explain it better. Is a tame beauty snake one that does not bite when handled, but is still very quick and active? I've had corns and kingsnakes, but I've never handled a beauty snake. Will all of them be very fast and mobile during handling or do some of them calm down more like the corns and other snakes that I'm used to? Thanks for any help.
