Thanks, Terry. Man, it's hot today. Got up to 95*F (and 75% humidity), and just hit 84* in my Herp Room. So far, five babies have left their eggs. It seems they like to leave at night more. I think I'm going to have to get an air-conditioner if our summers keep getting this warm.

You guys should do well raising the S. K.'s. They grow pretty fast. I have a pair from another breeder that just turned two yrs. old, and they'll be ready to breed next spring. They might've this year, but I don't like to push it the first year of maturity.

There could be some truth to lower temps helping get more females, although there is no proof in experiments. However, my temps usually fluctuate bt. 77 and 82*, and for some reason, I usually have lots of females. Of course, that wasn't the case last year, which means it's probably all coincidental.

Glad you're enjoying your new snakes. They sure are personable which I think is their best quality. Later....Terry.
