They can be, yup. I'm not sure how representative my two are, but if they're the norm this should be an easy species to keep.

I got my two for $20 each from Glades Herp. Glades has them in stock at the moment for $10... but, of course, you've got $40 or so for shipping, so it only ends up being cheaper if you get a few critters.
: the guy at the store looks exactly like yours pictured.. maybe its not a diadema...
Well, it's not clear to me whether what I've got are properly considered a subspecies of Lytorhynchus diadema, or the separate species Lytorhynchus gaddi...
