Andre, I was really concerned about that myself and before buying them I HOUNDED all concerned about the story and the line. Don Soderberg assured me(about 100 times, lol)that these were indeed pure but for some reason retain alot of the juvnile pattern. I think it may have to do with the screwy genetic milkshake that they all hold. He sent me a pic which I have but dont know how to send(likely Travis has it too)of the original copulation between the male axanthic and the female albino. Mark Lucas had the male for a while after, and I cant hunt down the female and I believe it to be deceased. That would leave these as the only carriers of a "new" albino gene in addition to all the other genes I think they have. Yes, the hets and poss hets are fairly "ugly" but their disposition cant be beat and for this alone I dont think there is any Lindy in them, lol. I am in the process of outbreeding the original male to NICE STRIPED yellows to produce more females, get better looking hets, and figure out if maybe this retained pattern may be a dominant trait itself. Remember that in parts of their range yellows do hold their juvenile pattern its just that they are so unattractive compared to the rest we are not used to seeing them. I'm expecting clutches from the f1 sister as well as 2 from outcrossed females this week. I just hope my lousy breeding year doesnt continue,Jeff
