There is a website ( www.reptilian.com/pr_herp )
that sells Schrencki / Anomala intergrades at $40.
According to the site these are naturally occuring
intergrades and the site calls them 'Korrussian'.
As I have both Male Schrencki and a female Anomala,
I have emailed the owner of the site as I would be
interested in mating mine. Apparently the resulting
snake is more like the Schrencki than the Anomala.
Others that I have asked reckon that the result is
a muddy brown coloured, unnattractive snake that
is fairly temperamental.
As Steve says, the Anomala is a far more nocturnal
snake than the Schrencki and MUCH more nervous and
shy.
To date, I have not mated them mainly because of
the differing views on what the offspring are like
and also whether or not I would be able to sell them... LOL... I don't really want to land myself
with a lot of temperamental, unnatractive snakes
that nobody wants. On the other hand... If they
really are more like the Russians ????
