mice expiration

greetings. yesterday, I bought 4 aduly mice from a petstore (2 white and 2 gray. They were in the car for about 3 hours and when I got back, the 2 gray ones were dead and the white ones were fine. I was kinda worried about the car being hot, but it really wasnt bad in there. anyway, by the time I got home and get these dead mice in the freezer, they were dead for about 8 hours or so. Are these still good for feeding, or are they expired?
