Hey Ken! I'm from Ohio. I can remember catching lots of blk rats when I was a kid. I plan on visiting family in Ohio this summer. I'm also plannig on doing some snake hunting if I have time. I'll be mostly taking pics though. My question is, do you see them all year or just in the spring and fall. They may just be denning there. Your patio is probably the best rock outcrop in the area, LOL! I wish I had your yard. Your very lucky to have them there. Later! John Rhoads.
