I also am captivated by these guys. I have had this pair for three years now and the female double clutched last year but I only got three babies from the first clutch. This year she laid again but I only have one fertile egg. She is ovulating now with a double clutch. The male is in blue but should shed real soon. I haven't seen much breeding this season but I don't get an opportunity to check all day/night long. Of the three babies from '01, two females look just like the father pictured and one male resembles the mexican locality. The yearlings and expected offspring are are F2.
