Here is a shot of one of the eggs. They are very large, atleast compared to the various egglayers that I have had the luck of working with.

: This is one of the babies just after hatching last year. My particular animals seem to lighten up considerably as they grow instead of getting darker or duller as is normal for most snakes. My adult male is pushing 8' and is as bright as can be.

:
: : This is one of the female yearlings fathered by the male pictured above. They are now 3' and handleable. These snakes are thinkers, both sensing the air with slow licks of their tongues and very acute vision.

:
: : : I also am captivated by these guys. I have had this pair for three years now and the female double clutched last year but I only got three babies from the first clutch. This year she laid again but I only have one fertile egg. She is ovulating now with a double clutch. The male is in blue but should shed real soon. I haven't seen much breeding this season but I don't get an opportunity to check all day/night long. Of the three babies from '01, two females look just like the father pictured and one male resembles the mexican locality. The yearlings and expected offspring are are F2.
