what kind color are you looking for? I found one DOR yesterday that was close to 3 feet long and fat. Looked like it may have been a black/gray intergrade. There are a bunch of different colors of these guys here in KY. I caught one last year that was a dark olive drab color. It was on the road in front of my house. Just checked it out for a little while and let it go in the woods behind my house. If you want a w/c I can keep my eyes open for you one. Let me know.
: I have seen some red between the scales of wild caught black rats here in Pa.The first one I ever caught was like that.The one I have now is a shiney jet black male with no trace of a pattern visable unless he is full of rat,then you can see the white between his scales.I just love these snakes and have been looking for a female to pair him up with but I'm not having any luck.
