needing help with new snake

I recently purchased a gray rat snake at the kentucky reptile expo. Beth or Seth is between 5' and 5'6" and very friendly. Where could I find pics of similar snakes, and how can i determine the sex? Any other info concerning the husbandry of this type of snake would also be very helpful.
