I can say I'm partially happy with the findings, but I believe there will be some controversy over the groupings. I'll probably try to get the original paper to find out how Mr. Helfenberger separated bimaculata, dione, and situla, and why conspicillata is not grouped with mandarina, and why mandarina is grouped with moellendorffi instead of with the more northerly species. You did a great job and I appreciate you taking the time, knowing how busy you are. My wife (the English teacher) says it was very well organized too. I'll be looking forward to your follow-ups :)
Klaus - I wish to thank you for all your great works, and for bringing the Asian Elaphe within the grasp of amateurs, like myself. Thanks for taking the time to bring us up-to-date on the taxonomy. I wish you the best in your future endeavors.
Best wishes, TC.
