Our Ig has a love sock and would never use it and he bit me ,luckily he didnt bite hard at all.Ours was very happy with the back of the couch.If we tried to keep him away from the couch he got tail whipping happy and would lunge at me.Hopefully it will end soon.Try the love sock though ,I have heard it really has helped others
