Let me just state that I am am in no way proud of this. I was VERY mad at myself when it happened....
When I was around 11 or 12, I had this huge 5 foot tank(I believe it was 100 gallon). I put plants in it, made a little pond etc. etc. . I had every kind of Herp you could think of in there. Newts anoles, treefrogs, FB toads, skinks, everything.
The dominant plant was a vine I believe is called "Wandereing Jew". It grew like mad. Everyone in a while I had to trim it. Once When I was trimming some around the pond area, I noticed one of newts at the edge of it squirmming frantically. I picked him up only to realized I had accidentally "trimmed" of 2 of his limbs and half of his tail. I was devasted. He died a few days later. :(.........
