Having trouble getting Water Snake off fish....

I have a type of Water Snake that I have not yet ID'd (although I have at least confirmed it is a Water Snake), I have had it for about a year and a half. It will ONLY take fish. Doesn't matter what kind but only fish. I have tried all the other things on its diet, frogs, mice, crayfish, worms, etc. but nothing works. And fish have such a strong odor I can't see "scenting" them with stuff like worms or frogs that have a dramatically less strong odor. Any tips? At this point in time, I think its health is going to be affected if I can't get it a litte bit of variety. Different types of fish and vitamin dusting just won't cut it anymore. Thanks in advance....
