You're welcome! I keep my Nerodia on both Aspen (very finely shaved) and cypress. Cypress tends to hold humidity better but dosen't allow the snakes to burrow as well. I also like it because it won't stick to their bodies when they climb in and out of their water. It keeps their water much cleaner :)
