That's like saying because my leo got calcium power in his eye I should stop giving them calcium powder. My leo needed to get his eye flused out a couple times because of that. All because when he pounced a coated mealie in his dish he got some in his eyes.

Problems happen no matter what the substrate. Or the husbandry.
