I think there needs to be more regulation for the dangerous exotics but I do not feel there is a need to ban them totally. Should an individual possess the proper training, funds, experience, housing and knowledge then there should be no problem. But who is to regulate this? Apparently self-regulation is not working, but a total ban is not the answer either.

Is the problem as bad as the media and nut case fanatics make it out to be? No, never is. Banning them would just punish the folks that are responsible and take care of their animals properly just as the Brady Bill makes more hoops for law-abiding folks to get guns. The nut case criminals still have guns. Think I am going to rob a zippy mart so I buy the gun at the local gun shop? Not even.

Not the exact same thing but one should be able to get the point.

The day draws nigh folks that we all will lose our right to keep what we please if we don’t fight for those rights now, on every front. If nothing else we should help create a happy medium that we all can live with.

Just my .02- Dave B
