Goto the "online codes" section and find your city/county. I did not find your county, but i looked at Orange county and they have permit requirements for wild animals under which venomous reptiles fall. Your county may be similar. Then, i would do a search for your county's website and find the animal control number and call to find out how you can get a permit if in fact one is required. Good luck.
