I have a male indigo that was sick for a while. He had an abbess and was put on antabiotics for two weeks. Now something really odd is going on. I had him boarded at the vet practice while i was on vacation and i found that he had some dry dead tissue on the tip of his tail the whole end of his tail was pretty much dead (1 Inch) that part eventually fell off and seamed like it was going to be allright. I have now found that approximatelly two inches of his tail is mushy and smells really bad (dead tissue). Any one that has experienced the same and knows what to do. I would assume that I should bring him back to the vet again to figure out what to do with him. I just don't want him to die. He is 5 years old and has lost weight since he was sick. He was sick two months ago and is recovering slowly other than the problem i has mentioned.
Thank you for any information or in put
