As Fred was saying, Indigos metabolize extremely quickly which probably reduces the incidence of retaining ingested parasite. Additionally, I have fed my snakes roadkill snakes on occasion, usually after freezing, which in fact does not kill all of the possible parasites, but I have had no problems.
:My biggest worry with this practice is not the parasites. It is the fact the Indigo may decide it prefers snake and starts refusing other food. In my Indigo collection, I currently have two that are already picky, one refuses rats the majority of the time and the other mice; go figure!
