As Fred was saying, Indigos metabolize extremely quickly which probably reduces the incidence of retaining ingested parasite. Additionally, I have fed my snakes roadkill snakes on occasion, usually after freezing, which in fact does not kill all of the possible parasites, but I have had no problems.
My biggest worry with this practice is not the parasites. It is the fact the Indigo may decide it prefers snake and starts refusing other food. In my Indigo collection, I currently have two that are already picky, one refuses rats the majority of the time and the other mice; go figure!
Anyway, that's my 2 cents.
