I gave that guy a deposit on the first Cribo he had posted a couple of weeks ago and asked him to hold any others that he got from his importer and I'd buy them all.
After a about a week he tells me he got 2 more Y/T's in and that they were mine, but they were at the importers place where he was expecting his Indo shipment to arrive "any day soon".
He says he can save me money on shipping if he sends all 3 together which I agree to as long as it wouldn't be more than a week for them to arrive at the brokers house.
Needless to say I start getting the run around and all sorts of excuses as to why he doesn't have them in his possesion. I mean NUMEROUS excuses with the best one being " I'm too busy to deal with the Cribos because I have kids"!!!
Then my calls and e mails aren't being returned so now I have to basically hound this guy to get a response.
Now I ask him to just send the snake that I paid the deposit on because I'm worried that it isn't getting the care it should be getting while sitting at the brokers place.(as is evident in the pictures) He doesn't want to send it, and gives me more excuses and also says that they are getting the utmost care and that they are feeding on their own!
I tell him if he can't or won't send the snake I want the deposit back. He says he can't do the deal because he has no time to get to it(work, kids, etc.) and that he only does this for a hobby.
I get the refund back and let him know if he gets the snakes in his possesion and can actually send them I'd buy them all.
I knew something was fishy when he said he'd ship the snakes to me and I could pay him when I got them just in case I wasn't happy with them???
There is alot more to this story, but I think you get the general idea.
Typical broker B.S. I'm curious if anyone will actually get these Y/T's and what condition will they be in when someone saves them.
I am going to start building my Eastern Indigo collection so if anyone produces any red face/throats, especially a male, put the word out here and I'll contact you. I think I was substituting with the Cribos anyways, but I'd still like to get 1.1 Y/T's.
Sorry for the rant, but I hate getting jerked around.
I'm better now!
