Even with the "oketee" or what many are now calling the "Jasper County" corns. I have been hunting in and around Jasper cty. SC, at least a 6 times...and have seen lots of different looking corns from that area. They are NOT all screaming orange.
Yellow-tails bring up another issue...the babies are patterned much different than the adults do. They are patterned. (see the pic on indigosnakes.com) Having never bred them (yet) I don’t know how long it takes for them to make the transformation or if you can even tell what a juvie will look like as an adult.
It may be they are like chondro pythons and you just have to guess based on what the parents look like.
