Short version...
6' BT female escaped in garage 1 week ago...Placed glue traps all over every corner, likely hiding space, etc...After no luck for 3-4 days put mouse on trap, water on traps...No snake...Give up, think she's gone, not likely to survive outside, still gets to freezing at 7600 ft elevation, 6" snow 1 night...Sad Carl :-((

Friday night, son calls me at work...Found her!!!

My son found her in an elevated habitat..She, of course, doesn't really want to be caught...Gets to the floor..Heads right to one of the 10" x 6" glue traps...As she approaches trap she RAISES her head, puts it down on the opposite side of glue and continues over the trap like a roller coaster!!! Her body never comes near the glue!!! Still got her back into her cage anyway...

Happy Carl :-)) with another reason to love these animals!!!
