: Does anyone have any information pertaining to indigo life-span? Additionally, any facts as well relating to captive indigos with recorded life-span data (e.g. zoo data, research, private collections, etc.)? Thanks...

Jerry,
My oldest and largest male is at about 20 years as of the time of this writing. I have paperwork from when I purchased him , and before that he resided as an adult in a pet store for about 6 years. That pet shop closed its doors in 1988.
He is old as methusala now and has been retired as a breeder as of this year. But he still ACTS like he wants to breed, rattling the cage doors and falling BACKWARDS in his feeble attempts to get out and find a lady friend. Old dogs and new tricks? Lol, they are more like us then youll ever know.
*cheers*
Fred
