Here is the scenario...6.5 ft. female captive raised. In her last two seasons she has produced 17 babies. Her 1st season saw three fertile eggs, all hatched. Her 2nd season saw 14 eggs which all hatched. This year (2002) she copulated on Jan 21/02 at 8:30 pm at 59F. She only bred once and refused subsequent breeding attempts. She then fed on small meals until she shed her skin on March 26/02. Todays date is April 16/02..21 days and getting nervous. By the look of things I would guess that she is carrying slugs with possibly a few (2-3) fertile eggs. She has not started to explore her cage looking for a place to lay which is a tell tale sign. She remains coiled in her hide with no obvious signs of discomfort. She has a nest box with shagnum, her own hide box, and newspaper to crawl under. The substrate is cypress and cage temp would be in the high 70's...78-79. Your thought and ideas....Thanks
