I had an eastern last year go 24 days after prelay shed and laid 5 good and 6 slugs.
This year my TX female went 27 days after her prelay shed and, like yours, did not stay in her nest box at all or even act ready to lay.
I gave her (orally, through a tube) about 2 tablespoons of castor oil, which is a natural laxative, sometimes known in people to gently induce labor. That eve she expelled some urine, and late that night she began laying a clutch of 6 good eggs, and 2 infertile.
I think Carl G. has experience similar results using mineral oil.
Good luck...and try not to check her every fifteen minutes like I did !!
