Unfortunately there aren't any specifics about species involved, just "some snakes".
Also, I found something to the effect that less than 10% of reptile species have been studied concerning the matter, so generalizing that all snakes fall under the same heading is risky at best. As with anything biological on this green Earth, 100% is quite the rare statistic, as there are always exceptions to screw up a perfect record!
I think that we herpetoculturists such as ourselves are well positioned to do a bit of (albeit semi-empyrical) data collecting on this question. If every one keep records of their mean temperature of incubation and respective sex ratios they get, it could very well paint a clearer picture collectively than any one of us could come up with individually. If enough babies are hatched this summer it could make for a nice little graph when all data is put together.
