we are ancient!! Cope's Milksnakes!!! You probably remember when "alterna" and "blairi" were distinct species and very rare too!! And Trans-Pecos were just as rare!! Did you ever visit the Snake Farm in New Braunsfels,Tx?? It's still there by the way..Took my kids there a couple of times in the late '90's on trips to San Antonio...Still one of the best collections of reptiles anywhere and a lot cleaner than it used to be!! I remember selling them Diamondbacks for about 15 cents a pound!!! Thought I was making $$!! I'm going to New Orleans this week..Might have to zip to LaPlace and see if I can get a pair of "Cope's"! The good old days,on 15 cent gas you could road hunt forever...
: you're probably right. La Pines? I have three of em!!! How about the Snake Farm and Arthur Jones in Wild Cargo? This is going to really give my age away....how them copes milk snakes that one could get down there in La Place Loiusiana? :>) Yelp...those where the good ole days.
