For the most part, what you say about pituophis remaing pure is true. However, this one is an intergrade between a bull & a gopher. No, I didn't do it. LOL I got it from a friend who collected one of each & thought nothing of crossing them since their ranges overlap in the wild. I bought if for like $15 & then sold it about a year later. The guy I sold it to ended up GIVING it back to me when it bagan approaching 6ft because he was intimidated by it!! LOL
I kept it for another year or so before trading it back to the breeder because my wife hated it, it was a hissing monster! LOL

Hope your opinion of me isn't too tarnish now. :-)
