Cribos are active, intelligent & alert snakes, I wouldn't recommend them for beginners, but you don't sound like one, both my blacktails are great animals, don't bite, eat well & breed for me, so I obviously think they make wonderful pets. They are kept a little diferently from other snakes, but all the info anyone could need is right on this forum.
